Believed to have been taken with a Wild RC8 camera with a 6 inch (152mm) focal length lens from an altitude of approximately 9,000 feet. Sydney's new International Terminal is under construction in the light area at top left. Runway 16/34 was extended into Botany Bay in 1959 for the arrival of the Boeing 707.
