Sydney Airport on 23 June 1953

Believed to have been taken with a Williamson-Ross Eagle IX camera with a 6 inch focal length lens from an altitude of approximately 9,000 feet. This, the last photograph in the series, shows the relocated mouth of the Cooks River. It was during this year (1953) that the airport was renamed Sydney (Kingsford Smith) Airport in honour of the famous Australian aviator Sir Charles Kingsford Smith. Adastra's Hangar 15 is marked with a red dot.
