Cecil Mohr at the 1959 Adastra Christmas party in the hangar. The photo and the caption were contributed by his daughter, Rosemary Peters.

"Cec Mohr joined Adastra in 1953 and retired in 1973. He worked in the hangar as a Storeman and from the early 1960s he did some travelling as an assistant to the surveyors. He also did a lot of the cooking when they were camping. Some of the trips I remember him going on were to Port Hedland (they camped on Pippingarra Station - the family maintained years of contact with the station owner John Richardson and his family), Tennant Creek, Roma and Tasmania. My parents relocated to WA in 1986, Dad passing away on 8 February 2005 and Mum in May 2013. My fondest memories of Adastra were the wonderful Christmas parties they held for the kids."
