Hudson VH-EWS probably at Tamworth in 1958 soon after the aircraft was converted for aerial survey. Note the name George Vincent in honour of the NSW Surveyor-General. The door to the nose baggage compartment has been fixed shut and its handle removed. The nose transparency appears to have been custom-made as it is shorter than the standard Hudson unit. During its previous service as an airliner there were no windows in the nose.
