This plaque was presented to Allan Vial in October 1991 by the late Russell Yeulett DFM, a Path Finder who was living in Cairns at the time. Russell retrieved this port engine access panel from the wreck of VH-DAS at Kuranda and had it suitably mounted. Allan Vial's TAA epaulettes with SA Government gold buttons were subsequently added to the trophy.Photo: Allan Vial
