This plaque was presented to Allan Vial in October 1991 by the late Russell Yeulett DFM, a Path Finder who was living in Cairns at the time. Russell retrieved this port engine access panel from the wreck of VH-DAS at Kuranda and had it suitably mounted. Allan Vial's TAA epaulettes with SA Government gold buttons were subsequently added to the trophy. This artefact is now displayed in the Don Bennett Office at the Queensland Air Museum, Caloundra.
