This view from the cockpit
of DC-3 VH-AGU shows the wire frame which was mounted in front of the
co-pilot's windscreen. This device was to assist the navigator who occupied
the right hand seat on magnetometer surveys. The vertical spikes are set
at five degree intervals. The photo was taken at Halls Creek in December
1968. The pilot is Dave Brennan. The co-pilot is unknown.  Photo:
